The Daydream

Based on the by now classic portrait of a dreamy Inge made by b-Art (see it here), this is another failed attempt at someone who's rapidly becoming one of my 'regular' subjects. I'll probably keep doing it until I get one I'm happy with. I'm not quite sure what's wrong with this one, but I have a vague impression adding the top of her head has something to do with it. She's in there somewhere, but not quite. Close but no cigar. On to the next one...

Mother Is Watching You

This one was made as a birthday present and I'm really happy with the way the child came out. One of my better faces. The scan differs sligthly from the final drawing as just before sealing it, I realised I had forgotten to fill in the strap on the mother's top. So in the actual drawing it's black instead of white.

Side by Side

An even younger Sandy than she is now (we were never this young) and her best friend. Also a new challenge as the dimensions of the original picture were a mere 4 by 5 cm, whereas the final drawing is five times the size. Needless to say, some details had to be improvised...

A Touch of the Exotic

I really should have known that you can't announce a picture in advance without something going terribly wrong and it being delayed. So I won't tell you what's coming next or when it's coming. In fact, you should assume there won't be a next drawing, that way it can't be late. Ever. But back to business, you've seen my interpretation of the cutest boy alive, here's the woman who made the original!
